Christine Mann

Obituary: Christine Mann, 70, passed away Friday morning February 16, 2018, at Tucker Hospice House. Born March 4, 1947 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Helen Dennis Butler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Butler. Christine was a loving mother and grandmother. With a green thumb, she loved flowers. She also enjoyed fishing, animals and listening to her brother's band, "Smokey and the Roadhouse". Mrs. Mann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tina Cornett and husband, Dean; her grandchildren, Tanner Fowler and Baylie Mann; brother, Melvin Butler (Linda); step children, Duane Mann and Brian Mann (Tamie); and extended family members. Graveside services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Mann will begin at 11:00 am Monday, February 19th at Carolina Memorial Park, conducted by Pastor Leon Simmons. The family will speak with guests following the graveside service at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
