Cindy Weddington Stewart

Obituary: Cindy Dawn Karriker Stewart, 47, of185 Mary Ester Lane died Monday, August 10, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, August 9, 2009. Her husband, Barry Jay Stewart lost his life as a result of the same accident. Cindy and Barry had celebrated their first anniversary on August 8, 2009. Cindy was born June 12, 1962 in Iredell County, NC daughter of Paul Brown Karriker of Kannapolis and Ruby Lee King Karriker of Mooresville. She was a 1980 graduate of South Rowan High School and was owner/operator of a residential and commercial cleaning service. She was a faithful member of Judah Worship Center in Concord. In addition to her parents she is survived by two Sons: Travis James Weddington and Joseph Dyland Weddington , and a Daughter: Jessica Blair Weddington, all of China Grove. She is also survived by a Sister: Jeanie Lemmond and Husband Jackie of Maiden, NC. A joint funeral service for Cindy and Barry will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Parkwood Baptist Church, Concord. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
