Obituary: Clara Virginia Bare Bostian, 84, of Kannapolis, NC.died at CMC-Northeast on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Mrs. Bostian death was unexpected. She was born on October 18, 1926 in Wilkes County, NC a daughter of the late Fred E. and Laura Ethel Church Bare. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bostian is preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother and most recently by her husband Merle F. Bostian who died on July 20, 2011.Mrs. Bostian was retired from Cannon Mills where she was employed in the sheet department. She was a devoted member of Genesis Baptist Church and dearly loved and enjoyed her family. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Gene Edwards. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30-3:00 PM prior to services on Saturday.Mrs. Bostian is survived by two sons, Dwain Bostian (Joyce) and Kenneth Bostian (Donna) both of Kannapolis, 2 grandchildren, Eric Bostian (Kelli) and Kendra Dennis (Jake), a great granddaughter, Brooke Dennis, a brother, Dallas Bare (Muriel) of N. Wilkesboro, NC, and a sister R.V.
