Clarence Ousley, 76, of Kannapolis, passed away January 16, 2021, at Atrium Main in Charlotte. He was born May 17, 1944 in Hippo, Kentucky to the late Grover and Alice (Moore) Ousley.
He was a retired Norfolk and Southern railroad boilermaker of 34 years. Prior he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Clarence loved to fish, build, listen to bluegrass and spend time with family and friends. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife Katherine Ousley of 51 years, he is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Ball of Princeton, West Virginia, one son Jeremy Ousley of Greensboro, North Carolina, one sister Anna Lou Kahnweiler of Torrance, California, one brother Carlos R. Ousley of Bellevue, Ohio, and four grandchildren, Samantha Ball, Sabrina Ball, Katie Ball and Shiloh Ousley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jerry and Richard Ousley.
A memorial service honoring the life of Clarence will be held at a later date.
