Claudia Adale "Sissy" (Harrison) Weyandt

Claudia Adale “Sissy” Weyandt 61 of Kannapolis, passed away on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at her residence in Kannapolis.

Sissy was born on April 19, 1962 in Harris County Texas to the late, Donald Edwin Harrison, Sr. and the late Barbara Ann Houseman Harrison. Claudia served in the army reserves, and was a manager at a party supply retail store. She loved to read and going fishing, she loved her family very much especially her granddaughter Payton, she also loved her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Eugene Hattaway and her brother, Donald Edwin Harrison, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter; Cassandra Sheree Hattaway (Daniel) of Kannapolis, mother; Nellie D. Harrison of Albemarle, brothers; Stephen Welch (Lori) of Etoile, TX, Johnny D. Welch of Texarkana, AR, Jack N. Welch of Etoile, TX, sisters; Dawn Poe (Mitch) of Pleasant Garden, NC, Shelia Welch of Etoile, TX and Stella Arline Willoughby of TX,  and her granddaughter Payton.

The family will receive friends Monday May 1, 2023 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Annex from 10:30 to 11:00 AM

A Memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM in the Whitley’s Annex Chapel with Pastor Don Crusenberry officiating.
