Claudine Childers Mcclamrock

Claudine Childers McClamrock, 87, of Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.  Claudine was born in Cabarrus County on May 10, 1935 to the late Wakefield and Effie Adams Childers.  Claudine was employed at Cannon Mills for many years.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her family was her life and she had a heart to help others in any way she could.

Claudine was predeceased in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Carl McClamrock in 1998, her grandson, Derrick Burton in 2019 and her three brothers, Clay, Frank and Fred Childers.  Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronnie McClamrock; her daughters, Judy O’Daniel and her husband Byron and Glenda McClamrock; her sister, Maxine Arrowood; her grandchildren, Chris Burton, Amanda Horne and Bradley McClamrock and three great grandchildren, Brady Burton, Tate Burton and Karyssa Horne.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1-2pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home with a funeral service to honor Claudine’s life to follow at 2pm in Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
