Obituary: Claudine Loretta Miller Tomlin, 83, of Salisbury died January 12, 2011 at Liberty Commons. She was born April 8, 1927 in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Tomlin in 2008. She was a home maker most of her life. She also enjoyed making crafts. She was a member of Phaniels Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Saturday at Phaniels Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Michael Taylor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2:30 prior to the service. She is survived by her son, Robert Tomlin (Cheryl) of Salisbury and two grandsons, Jacob and Justin. Memorials may be made to Phaniels Baptist Church, 2685 Phaniel Church Rd., Rockwell, NC 28138. Whitley's Funeral Home handling arrangements.
