Colby Park

Obituary: Colby Park, 25, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his residence. Born September 16, 1990 in Rowan County, he was the son of Carl Milas Hurley Park and Terri Davis Park. Colby was an extremely creative and loving young man. He was very artistic as well as being inventive with graphic design and painting. He loved learning new things and sharing new ideas and facts. He was always willing to help others, loved his family and friends and enjoyed playing his guitar. Gone too soon, Colby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family members left with cherished memories include his mother, Terri Fleming and husband, Foy; his father Carl Park and wife, Revonda; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Davis; sisters, Jessica Park and Kaitlyn Cantrell; step-brothers, T.J. Fleming (Erica) and Matthew Fleming; his step-sister, Brooke Corriher; step-brother, Bailey Corriher; nieces, Riley, Ava and Emery; aunts, uncles and his much loved dog Eve. A memorial service to remember and celebrate Colby's life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, April 1st at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, conducted by Pastor Jason Fink.
