Colen Lewis Barnes

Obituary: KANNAPOLIS - Colen Lewis Barnes, 64, of 2210 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, died on March 14, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast. He was born on Dec. 12, 1944 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Ralph and Hazel Heade Barnes. He was the owner of Barnes Motorcycle Repair in Kannapolis for many years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and fisherman. He is survived by two brothers, Connolly Barnes, of Kannapolis and Gary Lee Barnes, of China Grove. A private burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. Whitley's Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
