Obituary: Constance Delaine Sloop Campbell, 71, of Kannapolis went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at CHS-NorthEast after a period of declining health. Her funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Rodgers Park Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Ervin officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Constance was born August 24, 1947, in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late William Clinton Sloop and Virginia Nall Sloop. She worked for the former Cannon Mills and later for Winn-Dixie as a cashier. Constance dearly loved to read her bible and loved her church, Rodgers Park Baptist Church. She was passionate about drag racing.
