Cora Mae Laws

Obituary: Cora Mae Laws, 85, of Kannapolis, passed away surrounded by family and friends, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at her son's home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 18th at St. John's Reformed Church with Dr. Chris King officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service at the church. She was born March 18, 1932 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Marvin Welker Moore and Euphia Lee McDaniel Moore. Cora worked for Cannon Mills for 42 years, she was an active member of St. John's Reformed Church, Cora was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by one grandchild. Those left to cherish her memory, two sons Mark W. Laws (Crystle) of Kannapolis, Clint Laws (Turina) of Kannapolis, two grandchildren Chris Laws of Kannapolis, Camron Laws of Locust, NC, four great-grandchildren and two very special people in her life Emma and Jacob.
