Crystal Allman Williams

Crystal Allman Williams, born on July 21, 1952, in Concord, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, after six years of declining health. She spent her entire life in the Concord and Kannapolis communities, where she built a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work.

Crystal was the beloved wife of Ronnie Williams and was previously married to the late James Ralph Shepherd. She was a devoted mother to Tana Macaluso (Damien) and Brian Shepherd (Krista), and a cherished grandmother to Jake Goodman (Alley), Andrew Goodman, Dillon Shepherd, Mackenzie Shepherd, and Davin Shepherd. She was also awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild. In addition to her immediate family, Crystal is survived by two stepdaughters, two stepsons, their spouses and families of whom she cared for deeply.

A woman of warmth and generosity, Crystal found her greatest joy in her family. She adored her faithful dog, Joker, and treasured the many memories made at her beach house, where she spent much of her time after retiring from Philip Morris. Whether she was soaking up the sun, dancing to oldies, reading a good book, or working on a puzzle, she embraced life’s simple pleasures with enthusiasm.

Crystal was known for her incredible cooking, her tireless work ethic, and her ability to make friends wherever she went. Her kindness and welcoming nature touched countless lives, and her presence will be profoundly missed.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace and will carry forward her love, strength, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. A service to honor her will be held at Whitley Funeral Home in Kannapolis on Friday February 7. Visitation begins at 1pm followed by service at 2pm then burial at 3pm.
