Crystal Janelle (Wallace) Winburn

Crystal Janelle Wallace Winburn, 51 of Concord went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Atrium Northeast Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Crystal was born November 14, 1968 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of James Leslie Wallace and Jenny Lynn Billings Wallace of Concord.

Crystal was a 1988 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. She had previously been employed by Cannon Mills and later was a CNA with Piedmont Residential Children’s Center. She had also sat with the homebound.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Kannapolis.

She enjoyed yard sales, singing, doing her hair and nails and talking with friends on the phone.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Woody Winburn on December 23, 2016, and two grandchildren; Chloe, Michael..

Family members left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents include her husband, Ricky Rhodes of Mocksville, three sons, Jacob and Jonathan of Concord and Chris of Salisbury, one sister, Tonya (Phillip) Tucker of Concord, three brothers, Mark(Tammy) Wallace of Kannapolis, Calvin(Betty) Wallace of China Grove, and Joshua(Jessica) Wallace of Winston-Salem.

Funeral services will be held 2:00- P.M. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church, Kannapolis conducted by Rev. James Pauley and Chris Winburn. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence.
