Cynthia King

Obituary: Concord -- Cindy "Squeaky" King, 63, passed away Sunday evening, August 20, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born March 27, 1954 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Lee and Mary Lorene Rummage Bunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her much loved son, Lawrence Lee King. A loving mother and grandmother, Cindy was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a wonderful, devoted homemaker and friend to many. She leaves cherished memories to her children Angela Phillips, Carl King, Teri King and April King; her grandchildren Destiny King, Haley King, Erica "Buger" King, Taylor Austin, Nicholas Hartsell and Shayla and Dustin Hagler; her sister Carol Jean Severt and husband Gene, and her lifelong best friend Lawrence King. Honoring her wishes, gravesides services will take place at 11:00 am Friday, August 25, 2017 at Carolina Memorial Park. Ms King will be laid to rest beside her son.
