Daisy Walter

Obituary: Daisy Cox Walter, left this Earth peacefully and was reunited with her loving husband of 50 years in Heaven on April 17th, 2018. She was 74 years old, born in Rowan County was the daughter of the late Rudolph & Estelle (Burris) Cox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers Ralph, Glen, Frank and Lonnie Cox and two sisters Annie and Joyce. She is survived by two brothers George and James Cox, three sisters Pearl and Mary Helms and Judy Blackwelder. She is also survived by three sons Bobby, David (Tabitha), and Robert (Tara) Walter. Twelve grandchildren Kevin, Justin, Lorrie (Brandon), Anthony, Christy, Quinton (Kayleigh), Timmy (Beth), Gage, Heather, Jessica, Luke (Samm), ShiAnne and her grand-dog Mango. She attended Gordon Heights Baptist Church for the past 30 years. She was a faithful servant to her Lord Jesus Christ. Her funeral services will held on April 21st at Whitley's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 11:00. Service at 12:00. Pastor Matthew Tucker will be Officiating.
