Dana Sherrill

Obituary: Dana N. Sherrill, 66, passed away Friday evening, February 16, 2018, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born March 3, 1951 in Cabarrus County, he was a son of Norris Thamer Sherrill of Concord and the late JoAnn Brooks Sherrill. Dana graduated from Nothwest Cabarrus High and from UNCC. He had retired from Rohm and Haas Chemical after 40 years of loyal service. Mr. Sherrill loved all of his family. He also loved and enjoyed his parrots and cockatiels; his special companions. Mr. Sherrill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 20th from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mr. Sherrill will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery. Loving family members include his daughters Laura Mullis (Jason) and Lindsey DeArmas (Roberto); his grandchildren Tyler, Sherrill, Darian, Landon, Conner and Grayson; his great-grandson, Braidyn and his brother, Brent Sherrill (Debbie).
