Daniel Thurston Fesperman

Obituary: Daniel Thurston Fesperman, 75, of 160 Warren Coleman Blvd., Concord died at on Friday, November 27, 2010 at Big Elm Retirement Center in Kannapolis. Mr. Fesperman was born on April 17, 1935 in Salisbury, NC, the son of the late Julius Fesperman and the late Addie Poston Fesperman. In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Wingate and 3 brothers; Gilbert Fesperman, Charles Fesperman and Berry Fesperman. A lifelong resident of Rowan, Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties he was a machine repairman in the mills. He was a member of Plaza Road Baptist Church in Charlotte. Survivors include his daughter, Pam Fesperman Kiger of Charlotte; a grandson, Tony Kiger of Greenville, SC and 2 great-grandchildren; Sydney and Christian Kiger. He is also survived a brother, David Fesperman and by a 2 nieces; Rena Laton and Rhonda Barrier. A Memorial Service will take place at 11A.M., Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel.
