Daniel Talbert

Obituary: Daniel Scott Talbert, 59, passed away Monday morning, October 8, 2018, at his home. Dan had been in declining health, but death was unexpected. Born September 4, 1959 in Cabarrus County, he was a son of Larry Wesley Talbert and the late Jo Ann Mabrey Talbert. Mr. Talbert had been employed in the construction business and among having other gifts, was a talented welder. He leaves cherished memories in addition to his father to his daughter, Kayla Talbert, and sons, Chace Walden Talbert(Katie) and Brantley Scott Talbert (Grace); his brother, Bryan Talbert and a sister, Jennifer Talbert Cooke (Mickey); he also was the proud grandfather of his grandchildren, Skyler Walden Talbert, McCoy Walden Talbert and a "soon to be" granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Thursday, October 11th at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mr. Talbert will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Rev. Ron Hartman, pastor of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church.
