Danny Hunsucker

Obituary: Daniel "Danny" Deese Hunsucker Jr., 71, of Kannapolis Passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Tucker Hospice House. He was born May 21, 1945 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Daniel D. Hunsucker Sr. and Bernice Meeks Hunsucker. Danny enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, and NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by son William Hunsucker and a daughter Donna Hunsucker. He is survived by two sons, Phillip Wayne Hunsucker of Salisbury, Daniel Keith Hunsucker of Panama City, FL, two daughters Misty Dawn Sobal of Kannapolis, Danielle Lee Rodrigues of Pagland, SC, one brother Mark Hunsucker, 15 grandchildren Madison, Aaliyah, Hailey, Jonathon, Jaqueline, Oscar, Victor, Alexandria, Johnathon, Timothy, Jessica, Todd, Billy Jr. Holly, and Bethany. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday (Dec. 21) at Ben Avenue Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Don Draughn officiating, burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
