Daphne Colene (Davis) Esasky

August 10, 1937 — July 27, 2021

Daphne Davis Esasky, 83, of Salisbury, passed away, Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Novant Rowan Medical Center.

She was born, August 10, 1937 in Landis, to the late Henry Dewey Davis and Annie Victoria Dunn Davis.

Daphne graduated from Lowrance Hospital School of Nursing in 1958 and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Robert Esasky in 2015, and also four sisters; Lydia Pearl Holmes, Margaret Ann Deal, Mary Kathleen Allman, and Ruby Odessa Setzer.

Those left to cherish her memory; son Eric Esasky and wife Joann of Salisbury; grandson Nicholas Esasky of Concord; granddaughter Lauren Esasky of Concord; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 30, at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating, entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
