Darlene Earnhardt Wayne

Obituary: Darlene Justina Wayne, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2019 in her home. Darlene was born in Concord, NC on December 22, 1953 to the late Hugh J. Earnhardt and Juanita P. Earnhardt. She was a Registered Nurse at Northeast Medical Center, where she helped deliver many babies into this world. She went on to be a nursing instructor at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, where she taught future nurses that would go on to improve the health and lives of countless souls. She loved plants and animals which included her cats, donkeys, horses, and various other pets. A Celebration of Life will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church at 4pm on Monday July 1, 2019. Receiving of friends and family will follow from 5-7pm in the fellowship hall. The family will have a private burial service at a later date.
