Daryle Lynn Stamey

Obituary: Mr. Daryle Lynn Stamey, 59, of Concord, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 after an extended illness. He was born July 8, 1957 in Cabarrus County to Paul S. Stamey and Eunice Setzer Stamey. He had worked in residential construction as a foreman. He loved to do word search and enjoyed gospel music. He was very talented and played the piano and other instruments. Most of all he enjoyed being with family and friends. Daryle was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Louis Stamey. Survivors include: his brothers; Jeff Stamey and wife, Kay of Concord, Brian Stamey of Kannapois, Donald Stamey and wife, Dawn of China Grove, Paul Stamey, Jr. of China Grove. His sisters; Frankie Basham and husband, Mark of China Grove, Melony Puckett and Colleen Goodman both of Kannapolis. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Living Word Church with Rev. Rodney Boone officiating Burial will follow at 3:30 P.M. in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of Mark and Frankie Basham , 3110 Lentz Road, China Grove from 12:00 Until 10:00 P.M. until the service .
