David Quentin Britt

Obituary: David Quentin Britt, 73, of Concord, NC died on Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born on Oct. 9, 1940 in Montgomery County, NC, the son of the late Quentin Roosevelt Britt and the late Carrie Elizabeth Williams Britt. In his early years, David was an insurance agent, then a manager at an insurance company and most recently, a regional assistant vice president with United Family Life Insurance Company. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Britt on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 7p.m., at New Hope Independent Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Roger Bostic. The family will receive friend at the church from 5:30-7:00 pm before the service. At other times they will be at the home of Faye Bruce at 734 Traton Circle in Concord. David is survived by his daughter, Amy B. Hayes (Charlie) of Concord; granddaughter, Lana Hayes also of Concord and his sister, Janet Caddell (Jimmy) of Biscoe, NC The family request that memorials be made to: Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
