David Wayne Hargett

Obituary: Mr. David Wayne Hargett, 55, of 107 N. Rose Ave., Kannapolis died at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010. Mr. Hargett was born on December 12, 1954 in Cabarrus County, the son of Thelma Leora Lowe Hargett of Kannapolis and the late Samuel Morrison Hargett. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary L. Stewart. David was in the trucking industry for many years. He had a kind heart and enjoyed making people, especially his friend's laugh. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Donna H. Neuburger of Loveland, CO. Also by nephews; Christopher Neuburger, Kyle Neuburger, Bobby Stewart & Brian Stewart as well as a number of nieces and nephews mostly living in this area. The funeral service for Mr. Hargett will take place on Monday, Dec. 6th at 7 P.M. at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Willie Rash. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. before the service on Monday.
