Obituary: Charlotte, NC David Allen Kemble, 64, of Charlotte died April 16, 2012 at CMC-Main. His death was unexpected. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday April 21 at North Kannapolis Baptist Church with Rev. Chris O'Guin and Rev. Charles Morrow officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday. Mr. Kemble was born July 25, 1947 in Pittsburg, Kansas, a son of the late Robert Sabol and Mary Lou McGarvey Sabol of Sacramento, CA. David started his career in the shoe industry in 1963 with Hill Brothers Shoes. He was a loyal employee of Kinney Shoe Corp/Foot Locker from 1966-2000, representing Foot Locker in the European Division in the Netherlands from 1994-1997.David joined the Shoe Show organization in 2000 and was a proud member of the Two-Ten Foundation. David was also a dedicated member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church where he recently received an appointment as a Deacon. He also sat as a Board Member at the church's school. He led the Senior's Sunday School class and was a generous supporter of various programs at the church including the Youth Program. Survivors include his sons; David Jason Kemble and fiancée Tamatha Cole of Charlotte and Ryan Allen Kemble of Eureka CA and his grandson, Alexander David Kemble of Charlotte. He is also survived by his 2 sisters; Susan Welnicki of FL and Jayne Julian of CA. David was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Turpin.
