David Arnold Sprinkle

Rev. David Arnold Sprinkle, 70, of Kannapolis, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June, 5, 2022.  David was born on June 6, 1951 in Cabarrus County to the Rev. David “Gene” Sprinkle and Grace Morton Sprinkle.

David loved to spread the word of God.  He was a previous pastor of Fisher Street Church of God in Concord, NC and Tryon Church of God in Tryon, NC.  He graduated from South Rowan High School in 1970, where he played football.  David loved to be surrounded by people and making them laugh.  He enjoyed fishing and playing golf as well.

David was predeceased in death by his brother, Timothy Sprinkle.  Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Rev. David “Gene” Sprinkle and Grace Morton Sprinkle; his children, Shannon Johnson and her husband Jason, Amber Hornal, Robin Sprinkle McGaha and her husband Timothy, David Dustin Sprinkle and Cody Cameron Sprinkle; his brother, Steve Sprinkle and his wife Ann; his grandchildren, Brittany, Alysa, Parker, Layla, and Mason; and his great grandchildren, L.J., Barney, and Kacen.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 9-11am at China Grove Church of God, 413 N Franklin St, China Grove, NC 28023 with a memorial service to follow at 11am.
