Dawne Melody Nabors Maynard

Obituary: Dawne Melody Nabors Maynard, 44 of Midland, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville following a brief illness. Dawne was born on July 31, 1966 in Ellis County, Texas a daughter of Kermit and Priscilla Dorman Nabors. Dawn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in education and enjoyed baking and volunteering at First Assembly Living Center. She dearly loved her family and will be sadly missed.Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday July 30, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Edgar Palser officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Saturday prior to services.In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Richard, two daughters; Kaytlynn Abrille Maynard and Alyssa Hope Maynard of the home, and a sister; Angela Musick (Randall) of Vinton, Virginia.The family requests memorials be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory, Huntersville, NC 28078.
