Dean Keith Gooch

Obituary: Kannapolis, NC Mr. Dean Keith Gooch, 47, of 5905 Blue Ridge Drive, Concord, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center, Concord. Death was unexpected. He was born August 7, 1962 in Mecklenburg County, NC son of Selma Christine Whitmire Gooch of Zebulon, Ga.and the late James Thomas Gooch. Dean was a truck driver for many years and in the last several years had driven for Shoe Show. He was of the Church of God Faith. He loved to fish, shoot league pool, and ride motorcycles. He had also served as a bouncer for many clubs in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Phred Causey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M .prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the home of a nephew: Jimmy "Bubba" Bowen, 5919 Blue Ridge Drive, Concord, NC 28027. He is survived by his Mother: Selma Christine Whitmire Gooch of Zebulon, Ga. Two Sisters: Linda Payne of Zebulon, Ga. and Ann Ayers of Concord. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He also cherished and was cherished by many friends.
