Debra Lynn Allmon

Debra Lynn Skidmore Allmon, 61, of Davidson, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Atrium Health Cabarrus, following a short period of declining health.

Born September 3, 1959, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Holland James and Rachel Tarlton Skidmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Skidmore.

Debra was a 1977 graduate of A.L. Brown High and had been a 23 year loyal employee of Northeast Medical, where she was a patient transport specialist. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend of many. Mrs. Allmon was a member of Concord Lake Baptist Church, was a lover of all animals, and just simply loved everybody. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family members left with cherished memories include her husband of 36 years, Randy Lee Allmon; her son, Andy Allman (Casey); her brother, Danny Skidmore (Tammy); niece Danielle Cook (Josh); great-nephew, Dax Cook; and mother-in-law, Lula Allmon.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday evening, September 15, 2020, at Whitley’s funeral Home.  Funeral services to remember and celebrate Debra’s life will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mike Edwards.
