Debra Tuggle Deaton

Obituary: Debra Ann Tuggle Deaton, 58, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at CMC Northeast in Concord. Ms. Deaton was born February 23, 1956 in Cabarrus County to the late Norman Lee Tuggle and Helen Basinger Tuggle. She attended Genesis Baptist Church and was the owner of D&D Towing and Hauling. Survivors include her son's Kenneth (Shirlene) Deaton and Chad Deaton both of Mooresville; three grandchildren, Emily Deaton, Anthony Deaton, and Justin Deaton; one brother, Terry Tuggle; and a sister, Brenda Vannoy. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at Whitley's Funeral Home.
