Obituary: Debra Patricia Jones "Debbie LaRue", age 49 of Richfield, formerly of Mills River died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 19, at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with burial following at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Annex Chapel on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Debbie was born July 9, 1963 in Iredell Co., a daughter of the late Albert and Emma Dodd Jones. She loved to write poems for the ones she loved. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her sisters; Pamela Jones and Lois Ross, and her brother, Buddy Gene Eberhart. Debbie is survived by her son, Kenneth Jones (Kelsey) of Weaverville and her life-partner, Tom Settlage of Richfield, her grandson, Knox Jones, her brother Clyde Jones of Midland, her half-sister, Glenda Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews.
