Delsie May Lawing Maples, 84, of Charlotte, went into her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Delsie was born on June 30, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Ralph Portman Lawing and Lillian Lee Corley Lawing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ray Hope Maples, who just recently passed away in February of this year.

She was a faithful member of Kilgo United Methodist Church in Charlotte for over 35 years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and often made clothing for her family.
