Dennis Gene Eberhart

Obituary: Dennis Gene Eberhart, 43 of Kannapolis died at his home on Friday, February 19, 2016. Death was unexpected. Dennis was born on December 31, 1972 in Cabarrus Co., the son of Janice Kay Raper Eberhart of Kannapolis and the late Buddy Gene Eberhart. Dennis was a lifetime resident of this area graduating from A.L. Brown High School. He had previously worked for Coca Cola and later with Pepsi Cola Bottling Companies. The service for Dennis will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Phil Goble. Interment will follow at West Lawn Mem. Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends at Whitley's from 9-11:00 before the service. Survivors in addition to his mother are his wife, Melissa Horne Eberhart of the home; two sons, Hayden Eberhart and Troy Eberhart both of the home; a sister, Jannetta Eberhart of Kannapolis and his maternal grandmother, Hazel Raper also of Kannapolis.
