Obituary: Dennis Lynn McManus, 55, of 335 Franklin Ave., Concord, N.C., died at CMC-NorthEast in Concord on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Dennis was born on April 24, 1955 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of Mary Leonard McManus Watson and the late Dallas Lee McManus. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Glenda M. James. The funeral for Mr. McManus will take place at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23rd at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Forest Jones. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 before the service. Mr. McManus is survived by his mother; Mary Leonard McManus of Kannapolis.
