Denny Lee Brackett

Denny Lee Brackett, 75, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus, following a period of declining health.

Born August 15, 1949, in Concord, Denny was the son the of late James and Bessie Goodnight Brackett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lee Brackett and his half- brother, Buster Buck Fink.

Denny had been a long-time, loyal employee of Cannon Mills, where he worked in towel packaging. He loved his coffee, the Miami Dolphins, wrestling and watching TV. Denny also enjoyed going to church when able, telling others about Jesus, and listening to good preaching and gospel singing. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Brackett will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Family members left with many cherished memories include his beloved wife, Kathy Lynch Brackett; his son, James Daniel Brackett; grandson, Jacob Lee Brackett, cousins and extended family members.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 18th, from 12:30-2:00 PM. Funeral services to remember and give thanks for Denny’s life will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Reverend Chuck Overcash.
