Derek Lee Bost

Derek Lee Bost, age 53,of Concord departed this earth on September 23, 2021. He was born on September 2, 1968 in Rowan Co., the son of the late Perry and Sybil Faggart Bost.

A celebration of his life will be held at Cabarrus Brewing Company, 329 Mc Gill Ave. NW, Concord, NC 28027, on Monday, October 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Derek is survived by his wife, Kimberly Matthews Bost and his daughter, Payton Bost, both of Concord. He is also survived by his loyal companion, Snickerz.

Derek was a lifelong area resident and graduate of South Rowan High School Class of 1986. He was employed with Honda of Concord as Parts Director after 28 years of service. Derek enjoyed feeding and watching his wild birds and taking trips to the beach. He was a hard worker, but enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed
