Diane Elizabeth (Bustle) Bowlin

Diane Elizabeth Bowlin, age 67 of Kannapolis, beloved wife of 35 years to Roger Bowlin, passed away October 26, 2022. Born in Mooresville on February 26, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Robert Grey and Ruby Nell Jacks Bustle.  Diane was a lover of all things outdoors. She loved her pretty yards, pretty flowers and loved all birds, especially hummingbirds. She also felt very at home by the ocean, listening to the waves and taking in all of the sights and sounds it had to offer. Diane also taught Sunday School and children’s church for a number of years at Lakewood Baptist Church in Kannapolis.

Besides her husband Roger, she is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Bowlin(Chris Secrest) of Charlotte; her brother Robert “Bobby” Bustle of Charlotte; her sister-in-law Rebecca Harrington(Larry) of Kannapolis; her nephew Robert Bustle(Happy) of Charlotte; her great nice Bella and her granddog Strudel. She was predeceased by her brother David Bustle.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Diane’s life will be held Thursday, November 3rd, from 1-3 PM at Whitleys’s Funeral Home.
