Diane Ford

Obituary: Diane Cook Ford, 70, of Kannapolis, N.C. passed away March 2, 2017 after an extended illness. She was born March 21, 1946 in Rowan County, the daughter of Clifford O. Cook and Letha Lambert Cook. Dianne owned and operated her craft shop and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Wayne Cook. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Harold Douglas Ford, a son Mark Douglas Ford and wife Betty of Landis, N.C., two daughters Rebecca F. Thomason and husband Dale of Rockwell, N.C., Jennifer F. Stout and husband Tim of Kannapolis, N.C., along with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marty Payton officiating. Visitation hours are from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the funeral home.
