Diane Mary (Gigel) Lubich

Obituary: Diane Mary (Gigel) Lubich 64, passed away on Saturday May 25, 2019 peacefully at her home in Concord. She was born May 18, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Albert Gigel and Hazel Gigel. Diane was a very caring, loving wife, and mother, who battled Multiple Sclerosis for 25 years. She enjoyed painting, reading, watching tv and movies, cheering on her children in all of their endeavors, making people laugh and spending time with her granddaughter. She was the best stay-at-home-mom a child could have, and was the Love that guided her family on a daily basis. She will be dearly missed. Family members left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Frank Lubich, two sons Matthew and Andrew, daughter Michelle Morrison, son-in law Kevin Morrison and granddaughter Melody. Other family members include brothers, Albert and Steven Gigel and preceded in death by her sister, April Cheeseman. Services for Diane will be held at 10AM, Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow after the service at Carolina Memorial Park.
