Dianne M. Jones

Obituary: Dianne McAlpine Jones, 66, of Kannapolis died Friday, December 17, 2010 due to an automobile accident. She was born April 21, 1944 in Pueblo, Co., the daughter of the late Lloyd and Charlotte Murphy McAlpine. She was employed with the Brian Center in Mooresville and loved working with the elderly. She was a member of Bethpage United Methodist Church. She loved painting and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her great personality and humor. She would always do anything for anyone. She was loved dearly by many people and will be deeply missed. She is the best mother, Mimi and friend that anyone could have ever had. She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Sides of Kannapolis and Angela Carringer of Denver, her two grandchildren Tyler Sides and Mason Roland, her two brothers Lloyd and Bill McAlpine and her sister Carolyn McAlpine. A memorial service will be held at Bethpage United Methodist Church on Monday Dec. 20, 2010 at 6:00 PM officiated by Rev. Jeff Coppley and Rev. Duane Melton. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM prior to the service at church. Memorials may be made to Bethpage United Methodist Church , 109 Fellowship Ave., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
