Dianne Emily Pittmon

Obituary: Dianne Pittmon, 67, of Kannapolis passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born April 5, 1949 in Salisbury, NC to the late Fred A. Morgan and Elizabeth Huneycutt Hillman. Dianne was a devoted mother and grandmother and was always smiling. Her favorite place to be was anywhere near the ocean. She loved her church home, Charity Baptist Church and she worked in sales for Pillowtex. She was preceded in death by two brothers Charles "Bud" Rogers and Leo Morgan. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Lori Pittmon Stewart of Harrisburg, two grandchildren Kennedy and Sydney Stewart, Dianne's best friend George Wiseman Jr. of Kannapolis, two brothers Jack Morgan (Wanda) of China Grove, Steve Morgan (Janice) of Lynchburg, VA, a sister Linda Hartsell (Gene) of Hermitage, TN, two sisters-in-law Patsy Rogers of Rockwell and Brenda Morgan of Kannapolis and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday (Feb 1) at Charity Baptist Church with Pastor Marty Payton officiating; burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
