Obituary: Don Farrell Eagle, Jr., 46, of Kannapolis died February 3, 2016 at CHS- NorthEast. Donnie was born November 1, 1969 in Cabarrus County, the son of Colleen Patterson Eagle of Kannapolis and the late Don Farrell Eagle, Sr. Donnie graduated from A.L. Brown High School in 1988 and East Carolina University in 1993. He was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed cross word puzzles and watching the History and Discovery Channels. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed shooting pool with The Pub's Brew Crew. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Billy Honeycutt. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday at Whitley's Funeral Home. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Donna Knight (Allen) and Kelly Eagle (Joel Billings), nieces and nephews, Katey and A.J. Knight, Josh Billings and many close friends.
