Obituary: Donald Martin Hamilton, 68, of Rockwell passed away on March 22, 2018 at his home. He was born August 4, 1949 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late David Vestal Hamilton and Ruth Garmon Hamilton. Donald was a graduate of Concord High School Class of 1967. He was an Eagle Scout. Donald was a big dog lover, horseman and marksman. He also loved woodworking and camping. Per his wishes, there will be no funeral services. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Cookie" Hamilton, son, David Lewis Hamilton of Concord, 4 step-children, Ashley Klutts of Summerville, SC, Jimmy Hatfield (Desiree Garza) of N. Charleston, SC, Kelly Semcho and Jason Eddings of Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Rowan County, 112 W Innes St, Salisbury, NC 28144.
