Donald Marshall Moore

Obituary: Mr. Donald Marshall Moore, 64, of 2108 Bertha Street, Kannapolis died December 24th, 2009 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC after a brief illness. He was born on May 20, 1945 in Charlotte, NC the son of the late Donald Monroe Moore and the late Roxie Mae Sims Moore. Marshall was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving with the U.S. Navy. He had been employed with the former Cannon Mills Co. working at plant 1, #7 weave room. The funeral for Mr. Moore will be held on Saturday, December 26th, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel conducted by Rev. Keith Kannenberg. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 p.m. before the service. Survivors include his wife, Karen Angline Waller Moore of the home, two sons; Charles Moore and his wife, Lori of Kannapolis and Jeffery L. Moore also of Kannapolis. Two brothers; Tony Moore, Sr. of Lincolnton, NC and Dean Moore of Salisbury and a sister; Beverly Hancock of China Grove.
