Donald George Totter

Donald George Totter, 72, of Concord, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 8, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Donald was born on November 12, 1948 in Rockville Center, New York  to the late George Totter and Burnetta McCormick Totter.

Donald spent his career as a designer draftsman. He was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord and truly committed his life to Christ. He was a long-time member of Multiply Church. In his free time, he enjoyed going hunting and fishing. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Christina Bouros Totter; two daughters, Susan Hudspeth and Jeanette Lotter; grandchildren, Crystal, Anthony, Ashley, Alannah, Thomas, Megan, Avery, and Mason; great-grandchildren, Beau and Skylar; and brother, Douglas Totter.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow and begin at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Totter officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Park.
