Doris Jean Dearmon

Obituary: New London, NC Doris Jean Lowder Ray Dearmon, 90, of New London passed away on January 12, 2018. She was born April 9, 1927 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late John Wilber Lowder and Norine Cook Lowder Kimbro. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Melton Permar Ray and Howard Dearmon. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Lloyd Ginn. She is survived by an aunt, Margie Cook Sells, brother-in-law, Norris Dearmon and family; Mark Dearmon, Teresa Erwin, Connie Long and Eric Dearmon, two sisters-in-laws, Mary Frances Walker and Betty Ruth Fuller and other nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Miley Elliott for his devotion to Doris & Howard for many years and for taking care of her affairs in her final months.
