Doris (Barrier) Mcbee

Doris Barrier McBee, 84, of North Charleston, SC passed away on January 6, 2022 after a period of declining health.  She was born June 9, 1937 in Iredell County, a daughter of the late Loy David Barrier and Addie Lee Hathcock Barrier.  She was a graduate of Western Carolina University.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kirk McBee, Sr.

Doris was retired. She was a BSN/RN nurse for many years before retiring.  Her graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 25, 2022 at the National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.

Doris is survived by her son, David Edward McBee and wife, Debra, grandson, David Jerald McBee, step grandchildren, Smith Hedrick, Steve Ball, Andrew Ball and 2 step great grandsons Ashton Ball and Connor Ball.
