Dorothy Hardin Whitley Ridenhour

Obituary: Dorothy Hardin Whitley Ridenhour, of China Grove went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday November 25, 2012 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mrs. Ridenhour was born on November 25,in Cliffside, NC the daughter of the late Grady Clifford and Mildred Hames Hardin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles White Ridenhour. Mrs. Ridenhour was a graduate of China Grove High School. She was a manager for Landmark Finance Company and worked in the guidance department at Corriher Lipe Middle School. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Ridenhour will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Central Baptist Church in Kannapolis with Rev. Curtis Parker officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Mrs. Ridenhour is survived by sons; Davis L. Whitley and wife Jan of China Grove, James R. Whitley Jr. and wife Karen of Landis, and Johnny W. Ridenhour and wife Dawn of Salisbury, daughters; Kathy W. Watts of Toms River, NJ, and Patti W. Curlee of Kannapolis, brother; John K. Hardin of Oviedo, FL., 18 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.
