Obituary: Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Starnes, 84, of Kannapolis went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9:25 AM, after one year of declining health. She is survived by granddaughters, Leighanne Smith (Kim Sullivan) and Alisha Doby (Brock Doby), daughter-in-law Norma Pichardo (Manuel), great-grandchildren: Justin Chapman, Andy and Lacie Sullivan, Trevor and Devin Doby, Patrick and Tyler Chapman, one great-great-granddaughter Natalee Chapman, and a niece and nephew Marianne and Travis Starnes. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Starnes and her sons, Floyd Chapman Jr., Terry M. Chapman I and Terry M Chapman II. Funeral services are private.
