Obituary: Dustin Garren Lee, age 17, of Kannapolis died unexpectedly on Thursday Sept. 24, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday Sept. 28 at Whitley's Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 27, at other times they will be at the family home. Dustin was born September 27, 1991 in Rowan Co. to Gary A. Lee of Kannapolis and Diane Wallace Lee of Salisbury. He was a life long area resident, attending A.L. Brown HS and finishing his education at Rowan Tech. He had worked as a mechanic for Poteat's Auto Parts Inc. in Kannapolis. Dustin had a lot of friends and will be dearly missed. He was his father's best friend and truly was a gift from God. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Sandra and Miranda and numerous aunts and uncles.
